We are now looking for a Product Specialist for our Explosion-protected cameras.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? As Product Specialist for Axis Explosion-protected cameras you will work closely with the Product Manager, managing the life of existing products as well as providing valuable input to the definition of new ones.
The Explosion-protected camera market requires deep understanding and knowledge of applicable regional industry standards and certifications. Axis is working with partners that manufacture and certify stainless steel housings that are equipped with Axis network cameras. In this position, you will work tightly with the Product Manager and R&D to reach the goals. You will also work closely with other Product specialists, to share product knowledge and support each other.
Examples of responsibilities:
Take an active part in the development of new products as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements.
Work tightly with our chosen Partners, R&D, Support and Sales in the different phases of the product lifecycle.
Educate our organization about the product category, via trainings in Technical conferences and documentation on our internal and external Product information pages.
Solve and prioritize support cases of a high complexity, either together with our partners, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers.
As a Product Specialist at Axis, you will work with many colleagues across the organization and across the globe. You will also interact externally with suppliers, partners and end-customers. It is important that you enjoy working with people and are able to build and maintain an extensive network. Travelling up to 20 days per year is required. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for a person who is structured, driven and socially skilled, with experiences in working with suppliers and cross-functional teams. The Explosion-protected market being relatively niched within Axis, makes it extra important for you to be a good ambassador and educator.
We believe you have a deep technical interest and thrive when given a problem to solve. We also believe that you are a team player with a good sense of humor, contributing to a great team spirit and fun at work.
We require
A relevant university degree and at least 5 years' experience in relevant fields
A pedagogic approach, both written and verbal, when explaining technical matters
Excellent English skills, written and verbal. Fluent Swedish is a plus, but the willingness to learn Swedish is a must.
It is of great value if you have experiences from working with IP network technology and/or Axis video products.
