We are now looking for a Product Specialist for our PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) cameras to join the Product Specialist team. If you have a strong drive to make our products exceed the customers' expectations and drive changes to improve product quality even more you are the one we are looking for!

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Product Specialist you will work closely with the Product Manager, managing the life of existing products and providing valuable input to new ones. As part of the R&D projects you are expected to provide expert input on customer needs and issues as well as being a technical expert of the product. You will also be responsible for handling the complex support cases escalated from our local technical services teams worldwide.
Your work can be divided into four general areas:
Take part in the development of new products and new firmware, as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements.
Maintain and develop product functionality: Identify new requirements, plan for new and maintain existing functionality, assist in pre-sales issues, etc.
Drive competence: The product specialist team provides product information like technical notes, white papers, and FAQ:s. Product Specialists also review user manuals and installation guidelines and provide internal product training.
Solve customer cases: Solve and prioritize support cases of a high complexity, either on your own, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers.
The role involves limited travelling, up to 15 days a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in problem solving.
We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters, as you will need to do hands-on product testing and product evaluation.
It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with IP video technology and/or Axis video products.
You have great social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts.
You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore we believe you have:
At least 5 years work experience.
A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
A deep understanding of technical matters and preferably experience of test procedures, troubleshooting and product evaluation.
Experience from working in development projects and of creating training materials.
Interest in and experience of documentation, including reviewing manuals and guides, updates and corrections to web pages, web-based tools, internal support information, etc.
Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage. Most meetings are held in Swedish.
