We are looking for a Product Specialist for the End-to-End (E2E) Solutions team within the Solution Management organization at Axis HQ in Lund.
Who is your future team?
The E2E Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis E2E Solutions for Surveillance. Our E2E solutions are built around our video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station and AXIS Companion, however, the functionality extends beyond that. You will be part of a helpful and highly skilled group of product specialists within this team. We believe in building an open and supportive environment for each team member to thrive and contribute together to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading E2E surveillance solutions.
What you'll do here as a Product Specialist?
Together with product managers, product specialists and other stakeholders within the team, you will manage the entire life cycle of our AXIS Camera Station video management system - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go-to the market, and maintenance. Your main responsibility will cover the following areas:
* Secure successful releases by coordinating and facilitating deliverables related to the release of a new product or feature by cooperating with marketing, sales, R&D as well as other supporting functions in the organization. Track and communicate the progress throughout the release process to all the relevant parties.
* Drive competence by creating and managing technical documentation (Release notes, technical notes, How-to guides, etc.) as well as training material in close collaboration with R&D and the other product specialists.
* Act upon feedback from stakeholders outside of the team while sharing technical knowledge of our products with them, with the goal of constantly improving our offerings and release process.
* Support on an ad-hoc basis the other product specialists when it comes to prioritizing and troubleshooting complex support cases escalated from Axis support teams worldwide with help from R&D engineers.
We travel to strengthen relations but focus on digital media to become efficient. Travelling up to 15 days a year.
Who are we looking for / Who are you?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with a technical interest. We believe you are a quick learner and are practical when it comes to technical matters, as you will do hands-on product testing and present demonstrations now and then.
You have excellent communication skills to thrive in a multicultural environment with international contacts. Like us, you are a service-minded team player but also enjoy working independently. You can see the big picture while paying attention to detail.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* Work experience in the IT industry or relevant technical education. Experience in troubleshooting is valuable.
* A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters.
* Interests in, and preferably experience in creating technical documentation and training material in various formats.
* Strong time management skills.
* Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
* Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage.
