About the assignment
This is a consultant assignment which means that you will be employed by us at Jefferson Wells but spend your days at our customer in Landskrona. Start date will be as soon as possible and it will last until September 30, next year.
You will be travelling, mainly in Europe, approx 20 days per year.
About the role
You will be working as a product Safety & Liability manager in the pedestrian door solutions business area. The business area focuses on the efficient flow for pedestrians and accessibility to buildings.
You will be a part of a team of 20 persons in total and you will report to the Product Development Shared Services Manager.
Work description
You will be responsible to ensure that the company's products fulfil regulatory requirements. You will make sure that safety related aspects are covered.
The role supports the organization with worldwide applicable product regulatory requirements/standards.
You will also do this:
* You handle, monitor and inform about 3rd party tests (e.g. RISE, TÜV and UL) and approvals.
* You will provide plans, support and continuous training for all employees, projects and programs run within the Product Development Organization and Supply Chain Organization.
* You will be responsible that product fulfills what is stated in the product Declaration of Conformity and/or Declaration of Performance.
* You will initiate and drive projects and you will be responsible for deliverance and results within your area of work.
About you
To succeed in this role, we believe you have a Master 's or Bachelor's degree in science and about 5 years' work experience. You need to have a deep technical understanding and experience from working with software-, electronics- and/or mechatronic-based products will be an advantage.
As a person you are pragmatic, thorough and communicative. You do also have a strong drive, a continuous improvement mind-set and the ability to cooperate in a multi-functional global project organization.
You need to be fluent in English since you will communicate on a daily basis with colleagues around the world
