About our R&D - Platform Integration & Release
We have come to an important step in the development of our new software-centric platform. Test and integration on the complete software and electronics system level are highly prioritized. The mission in our team is to bring integration-driven development and test into product creation to continuously demonstrate that we deliver the best electrical system in the automotive world. We are also held responsible to secure a stable and robust electrical system for Volvo Car's new SW and electronics platforms Our group consists of teams working across Research and Development with test strategies and anatomies. It is our governance to set integration-strategies and implementation plans, configuration management, and continuous integration strategies and plans. We also lead testing, integration, and analysis across our ART and R&D with regards to the complete electrical system to enable early testing and early failure detection. We are now looking for a Product Owner to lead our Complete Software, Electronics Test and Integration teams.
Role specifics
As a Product Owner you will maximize value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the Team Backlog from a business perspective to streamline execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/stories for the team. You are the technical leader for the products and deliveries in you teams. You drive the team vision and direction, short- and long-term of the product together with the team and relevant stakeholders. You own, build and prioritize the features and stories in the Team Backlog. You coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners. Participating as a member of the Product. Management team, review, and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations.
You and your skills
To manage such a challenge, we believe you have a passion for embedded software systems and large-scale software development organizations. You have a solid continuous integration background and hands-on practice within continuous integration testing. You are used to lead in change and have ability to lead strong empowered teams with a high level of specialist competence. You lead through people and teams and are an excellent listener who is motivated by creating new solutions together with cross-functional teams. You are creative, communicative, analytical, and curious and is driven by finding new ways forward by leading and supporting teams in delivering new solutions that give value. You have a MSc in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience. Senior leadership experience from working on SW and architecture/strategies in large-scaled software developing organization. At least 10 years of experience from working with embedded software development, software test and integration as well as and handling requirement within software projects. Experience from SW baselining in complex systems. Knowledig in ISO26262, cyber security or similar legal aspects connected to SW.
Meritorious
• Experience in implementation of CI pipelines for SW development and in implementation of CM for SW development
• Software coding experience
• Agile frameworks and development such as SAFe
