Our client is world-leading provider of telecom equipment, solutions and services to mobile and fixed network operators and telecom providers all over the world.
This assignment is for staffing specific competence on our SW development teams involved in development for Packet Core Control (PCC) and Packet Core Gateway (PCG). Packet Core Control is the new, cloud native control plane signaling processing function in the dual-mode 5G Core offering. It provides the access, session, mobility and gateway control functions to support the new 5G use-cases. Packet Core Gateway is the new, cloud native user plane traffic processing and gateway function in dual-mode 5G Core offering.
GlobalLogic Sweden AB is now looking for a Product Owner to join our team in working an onsite assignment with one of our clients within the Telecom/Connectivity domain in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years preferably with work experience on leading roles
3-5 years' experience as an PO (product owner) or similar
High business understanding and good understanding of the domain/area
Good presentation skills to be able to connect with partners, operators and customers at different levels
Good people skills and appreciate teamwork
Experience from working according to Lean and Agile
High energy and love to handle commitments
Job Responsibilities:
Prioritize the feature backlog and make sure it is visible, and clear
Secure that the team knows what we do and why we do it to ensure high team motivation
Initiate Feature Analysis/Quick Study involving General System managers, Design Architects, Technical Test Coordinator, Test architects etc. and verify that the solution has the right scope fit for the purpose.
Explain the Feature value to partners and communicate, coordinate and align with both internal and external partners, customers, CU (Customer units) etc
Develop business and technical understanding within the domain
Discover value, improvements, technical debts and make adoptions together with cross functional teams for placement in Product Backlog
Synchronize with other PO's
Ensure that the solutions designed by cross functional teams are cost efficient
Focusing on alignment, reusability and technology leadership for the area while translating business value into product realization
