Do you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy working in systems, and have an eye for detail? Are you motivated by supporting others, solving problems, and ensuring smooth processes across complex organizations? Then this could be your next opportunity!
About the Role
As a Product & Assortment Specialist at Essity, you will play a key supporting role in product lifecycle management processes. You'll work closely with Product & Assortment Managers (PAMs) and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and accurate handling of product data, documentation, and system updates. Your work will help reduce administrative burden for PAMs and contribute to the successful implementation of product changes across the organization.
You'll be a superuser in SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MDG (Master Data Governance), managing engineering records (ERs), technical documentation, and specifications. You'll also be a key contact for troubleshooting issues, coordinating with factories, and ensuring that product specifications are correctly implemented.
This is an assignment running until the end of June 2027, with good possibilities for extension or takeover. The position is based at Essity's office in Mölndal, Sweden.
Examples of Tasks
• Create and manage Engineering Records (ERs) in SAP PLM, including defining purpose, scope, and rollout timelines.
• Update product specifications, including material quantities and compositions.
• Collaborate with master data teams, regulatory affairs, packaging, graphic design, and factory personnel.
• Support PAMs with data extraction, reporting, and system navigation.
• Maintain and consolidate technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment across stakeholders.
• Participate in annual initiatives such as Material Rationalisation (MR).
• Troubleshoot system errors and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Facilitate communication and prioritization of product changes with factories.
Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy working in systems and solving problems, and you take pride in helping others succeed. You're patient, communicative, and able to navigate diverse perspectives to find common ground. You're motivated by continuous learning and enjoy being part of a supportive and socially engaged team.
You're someone who:
• Enjoys working in structured systems and finding ways to improve workflows.
• Is energized by helping colleagues and sharing knowledge.
• Can manage multiple stakeholders and balance differing opinions.
• Values precision and consistency in documentation and data handling.
• Is curious and eager to understand the complexities of products and technologies.
You Have:
• Experience working with SAP PLM and SAP MDG (or similar ERP systems).
• Strong skills in Excel and Word.
• A background in master data management or product administration is highly beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical processes clearly.
• Patience and adaptability in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
