We are looking for a Product & Application specialist to join our Advanced Engineering Centre in Jönköping.
Technology is increasingly making highly efficient electrical battery alternatives possible, displacing the need for petrol powered tools. Your focus will be within professional outdoor tools and equipment, used for greenspace maintenance, forestry and landscaping. The Product & Application specialist role is about acquiring deep and relevant knowledge of these products, their usage and our customers. As a specialist, it is expected that you follow market developments and can identify new product opportunities and new ways of working. In Jönköping we have all functions under one roof and a flat organization, which results in effective fast work and easy collaboration.
Your Role
The team in Jönköping has long collective experience in development of outdoor products and robotics, and together we sprint towards new innovations and business opportunities. You will be an important person guiding us in the right direction , for complete products and subsystems. You are, to a large extent, the voice of the customer and know which solutions get the job done in the best way.
You will work together with colleagues in Europe, USA and China, as the teams work together to drive projects from early concepts through to serial production. You will also work close to our distributors and sales teams, and international customers.
You will also be driving improvements and building process in your own field of work, finding effective ways of collecting data and how to be close to applications and markets. You will be expected to assist product management within product training and demonstrations, as well as supplying relevant data, reports and presentations.
Your Profile
You are a person who likes practical work, technical investigations and testing products. You like meeting new people and learning from them, as well as teaching and passing on knowledge to others. It's important that you have a strong personal drive, as we encourage personal responsibility and freedom. Results count, but the way to achieve success can be flexible. It's important that you are good in communication skills, both spoken and written. English is our everyday language as our team consists of people from all over the world. It is expected that you can write structured and accurate technical reports. Travelling will be a natural part of the job and will require visits largely within Europe, and internationally a few times a year.
