Fingerprint Cards (FPC) is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors. We design the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices. We are now searching for a Product Marketing Manager to further improve the way we market our world-class products to our customers.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our product marketing material and all related marketing activities. This applies both to product presentations but also to generic features/aspects of FPC's products such as software, algorithms, packaging etc. that applies on several products. You will ensure that the product marketing material is continuously up to date and that it contains all necessary information that highlights FPC's competitive advantages.
You will analyze market trends and make detailed comparisons of our competitors' products. You will work closely with Product Management, R&D, Sales and our Customer Projects Organization, and you will ensure that all departments are continuously informed of our products and how our products compare with our competitors on the market.
You will report to our Marketing Director.
The location for this role is at our Malmö office.
Travelling to other locations will be required.
Your Background
You have a relevant university degree (preferably within Marketing or Engineering) and you have a track-record of successful work experience (+10 years) from marketing roles within a technical company. You need to have a good technical understanding, as our products are highly specialized and you will interact daily with engineers within R&D and product management. We expect that you have strong management skills as well as B2B knowledge.
As a person you are creative, open, positive and curious, with a great team-spirit. You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable in working with different departments and levels of an organization. We work in a fast-paced environment and it is essential that you respond well to pressure.
You are used to working independently and to take own initiative. You are structured and analytical and have outstanding problem solving skills. You are able to see the whole picture and pay attention to details at the same time. We expect that you have excellent written and oral skills in English, as this is our business language.
