Do you want to be the "engine" driving the Scania Bus & Coach Strategy to results?
Product Management Scania Buses & Coaches is responsible for all applications within our part of the Scania business. To generate real customer value from Scania's total offer of vehicles and tailor made services we are now looking to strengthen the team with 1 Product Managers.
The Product Manager within Scania Buses & Coaches will take up a total application responsibility, maximizing our potential within Sustainability and Solutions sales. Creating long term value for our customers by conceptualizing and bundling Scania's product and service portfolio into competitive and sustainable offers.
The Product Manager is also responsible for creating and maintaining the Application Business Plan, the strategic steering document for each application.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Application definition - Continuously sharpening the definition and knowledge of your application. Both for your own competence but also for the total Scania organisation needs.
Strategic targets - You are responsible for ensuring correct targets, that adds up to Scania Buses &
Coaches total strategic targets, is applied, measured and achieved within your application.
Market analysis - Develop a deep knowledge for the assigned application is an essential part of the job. Knowing our customers total operations, business and needs is key when you put product and service development demands into Scania and when forming concepts and offers.
Product strategy & marketing - What will be our future position within your application? What is our position today? Where do we need extra focus and what kind products and services do we need ensure in the Marketed Range? You will be answering these questions.
Commercial activities - Being the Scania Buses & Coaches representative for your application on events, fairs etc.
Execution - Ensuring that decided strategic activities within your application is executed with expected results.
Your profile and experience
Management and leadership experience is a strong merit, as this assignment will require both clear and firm communication, demand stating as well as activity/KPI follow up and reaction on deviations.
Experience from our customer operations and/or Public Transport Authorities is also meriting as well as experience from Bus & Coach sales management on Business unit level.
A university degree within engineering and/or business, or equivalent experience in appropriate discipline is a prerequisite.
The position will require business travelling. You are fluent in English and others languages are meriting.
