For our Product Management department we are now looking for a Product Manager. You will act as the company expert on all aspects of the product including legal structure & purpose, corporate governance, costs & profitability, performance & development.
Work tasks included:
• Manage and oversee the complete life cycle of products under the Product Managers responsibility.
• Actively promote awareness and appreciation of the products to other departments in the East Capital group.
• Diligently supervise and monitor developments of the products and report constructively to the Head of Product Management.
• Increase profitability, promote innovation, offer new ideas and contribute actively to the strategic development of the products.
• Be responsible for ensuring proper risk management and compliance with laws, rules and regulations and constitutional documents related to the products. Compliance officer, Risk Manager or other similar functions will report to you.
• Be responsible for ensuring proper deliverance of services by operations within East Capital and third party suppliers such as administrators and custodians.
• Act as Project Manager for launch/listing/change/liquidation of products.
• Where applicable act responsibly as signatory/CEO/ board member/conducting person of legal entities within the products.
• Represent the Products in relations with FSAs and other governmental authorities.
• Act as supervisor of the administrative work by the Product Management Associate working with the products.
• Where required be responsible for preparation and implementation of decisions at board and shareholders' meetings including responsibility to propose agenda and check minutes.
• Supervision and coordination of statutory reporting and other reporting such as distribution of product information materials internally to clients.
To be successful in this role we believe that you have as minimum a Bachelor's degree in business or law and at least 5 years of experience from work in a financial institution. You have a broad knowledge of regulated business in finance and a high-level of understanding of fund/asset management operations or administration and private and/or public equity funds. You are able to manage external and internal resources within a project environment and have proven leadership skills. You have previous experience of compliance related work and are used to a role demanding a holistic view of a business or product.
You have full command of both spoken and written English. Language skills in Swedish are preferred. Interest in the Eastern European economies will be helpful, but not required.
As a person you are mature with good judgment and a team player. You are service minded, analytical with an 'eye for details'. In addition you are independent, highly motivated and a holistic multi-leveled thinker
