We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Indirect Sales team at Volvo Energy as Product Manager Indirect Sales.

This is us - Indirect Sales

Indirect Sales is a function within Volvo Energy Sales Services & Engineering Support. We are responsible for the sales of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) subcomponents, including second-life products to Third Parties. We are now ramping up to develop our offering.

You will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the early development of this offering, together with a set of skilled and committed colleagues. We will work on solutions that will drive economically viable circularity and take us to a sustainable future.

What are we looking for in this specific role?

As a Product Manager Indirect Sales, you will be at the intersection of business, technology, and customers with the exciting mission to develop and execute our "take to market" strategy.

You will have the opportunity to take full ownership- from product offering to customer sales and liaise with the internal engineering and operations team to successfully drive the sales. This role will enable you to create and maintain relationships with key players on the energy transition.

You are passionate about circularity and a self-motivated, with an excellent ability to collaborate in a cross-functional way, since collaboration with other teams within the Volvo Group such as technical experts, project managers and engineers is a big part of this role.

Responsibilities will include among others:
Product management: define the Indirect Sales product portfolio and specifications to fulfill business targets.
Sales Leadership: identify and engage with new customers. Lead customer projects and execute on recurrent sales.
Project management: bring customer input on internal industrialization projects.
Market Intelligence: monitor addressable market, price development, competitor benchmarks, and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Sales engineering: Create compelling product offers, technical documentation and presentations tailored to the unique needs of each client including legal requirements and certifications.
Business analytics: Follow up on key sales metrics.

Qualifications likely required to be successful
University degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent.
Significant technical experience on Battery Energy Storage Solutions or battery systems.
Experience on setting up and driving customer integration projects in the aforementioned relevant industries, is an advantage.
Ability to work as part of a global team, with multiple stakeholders and on multiple projects/tasks at a time.
Good knowledge in building frameworks (process, methods, strategies, plans) and leveraging intrapreneurial skills in large, cross-functional organizations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build credibility and maintain effective customer relationships.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.

The location for this position will be in our offices at CampX in Gothenburg, Sweden.
