Job Description
We are looking for a Product Lead Engineer with experience in Product Information Management (PIM) systems and architecture within our Product Attribute Creation Team. In the Evaluate & Decide Area, you will lead this cross-functional product development team that delivers business and customer value, always with salesmanship at heart. PIM systems support the complete process of creation, enrichment, planning, and the release of product information in all necessary channels. A core focus for the Product Lead Engineer is to be responsible for the technical architecture and engineering practices in close collaboration with the Product Area Lead Engineer. Using your engineering and product information management experience, you will be a catalyst for technical innovation, modernization of our technical landscape, and drive the engineering culture on Product Area level.
You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner of Product Attribute Creation as well as other Product Owners, Product Area Managers and Product Area Lead Engineers to solve complex engineering problems and ensure an aligned technology roadmap. A central part of the role will be to guide and lead the area during our ongoing transformation period. We are on a journey together which means there is no clear path. You will play an important role in setting the foundation and creating our future organization. Furthermore, you will:
Provide hands-on technical guidance to product teams including supporting system/design/code reviews
Work with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
Translate product strategy and requirement into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design
Ensure the architectural and strategic technical roadmap for the platform and be in the forefront of new features adding to the product

Qualifications
Your mindset & skills
In this role you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset, be excited about creating something new and challenge the status quo. Other important skills needed in this role is to keep it simple, to be humble, open to new ideas and contribute in discussions in the forefront of disrupt loyalty!
We also believe that you have
8+ years of experience in Product Information Management systems,data modelling, backend development or relevant domain
5+ years of experience in tech lead roles
Knowledge in Azure DevOps and/or other cloud environments
Knowledge in API design and integration, published API services to cloud
Knowledge in content/product indexing
Experience in product, taxonomy and other types of data integrations
Strong knowledge of databases
Ability to communicate technical information to stakeholders

A big plus if you know
Have experience in market leading systems such as inRiver or BlueStone
Have knowledge on how AI technologies can be incorporated to enrichment flows
