Product Build Project Leader for Powertrain!Are you thrilled about new Volvo products and want to be a part of that development journey? We are looking for our future colleague who wants to be part of developing the Powertrain products of tomorrow. We are a great team, working to ensure the physical builds in prototype phases of the Powertrain projects. Project Build is a part of the Product Build organization within Group Trucks Technology. We are involved in advanced engineering, supporting very small series or unique builds as well as quality or maintenance projects. The start cost projects make up the larger scope for our group, these project build series are big in number and are used for testing in test cells, certification as well as complete vehicle testing. If this sounds interesting to You, apply to join us as Product Build Project Leader (PBPL)!Position DescriptionAs a PBPL for Powertrain, you plan and lead the cross-functional work related to prototype builds for start cost or maintenance projects.You are responsible to ensure that the physical test objects needed for verification and validation in product development projects are delivered in time and with the right quality. To manage this you will work together with hardware leaders, project manager engineering (PMe) as well as prototype purchasing, assembly functions and the verification teams.The test objects are assembled either in the production plant or in our internal workshops in Gothenburg. You are an active part in the Engineering Project Management Team and report to the PMe and to your line organization.
