Procurement Team Leader (m/f) role in Stockholm (Sweden)
The purpose of a Procurement Team Leader is to lead a team of buyers who manage several projects, optimizes and manage the procurement activities of his/her team, measure and improve supplier performance. This includes managing of material requirements in projects, send our requests for quotations, negotiations with the suppliers, purchase order placement and order management.
YOUR TASKS
• Manage a team of buyers that create, harmonize and manage Project Procurement
• Ownership and accountability of material base in large projects across several markets
• Establish framework agreements and purchase contracts for the projects and sign / countersign purchase contract with supplier up to 25k Euro
• Plan, prepare, establish and manage long lead items planning
• Manage purchase contracts in the projects
• Ensure deliveries to the project, manage material quality claims
• Optimize the supply base
• Plan and provide for training and development of the team and solve people issues
• Participate and adhere to the development of the Procurement organization.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven negotiation skills
• People management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in particular across regions
• Enthusiastic and trustworthy
• Flexible and able to work accurately to deadlines
• Exposure to cost reduction programs
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time both domestic and international
• International exposure
• Master studies
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing and management experience, preferably within an industrial environment of electronic or electro mechanical equipment
• English business fluent is mandatory, Swedish is considered an advantage
