hela Sverige We have an opening for a regional Procurement Manager for Akzo Nobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals. It is a full time position, based in Bohus, Sweden reporting to the BU Procurement Director.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Manage a total purchasing value of 350M? (200M? in raw materials and 150M? in indirect materials and services)
• Define and execute procurement strategies for the main categories, targeting lower costs and securing raw material availability for the EMEA plants
• Manage direct reports, indirect reports and procurement activities within EMEA plants
• Deliver savings and continuous improvements in line with goals set by the BU and AkzoNobel Sourcing
Qualifications
• Engineering, Business Administration or Economics university degree
• Proven experience in leadership
• Knowledgeable in acquisition of strategic and unique materials and services
• Experience in project leadership (PMP certification is desirable) and Continuous Improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma)
• Proficient in supplier relationship management including negotiation, contract management, conflict resolution, partnership development and supplier performance management
• High understanding of business processes
• High social competence and ability to build long term relationship
• Excellent communication skills in oral/presentation and writing in English and preferably Swedish
