hela Sverige We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join Mathem temporarily!
As Procurement Manager, you will enhance customer and employee experiences by leading the purchasing team responsible for inbound logistics. The responsibilities include developing logistical solutions for Mathem, including supplier development and improving the replenishment system, RELEX. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance, availability, and waste reduction, supporting the COO in achieving growth goals, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Commercial, Growth, Product & Tech.
What you'll be doing as a Procurement Manager
Drive continuous improvement in replenishment practices, aiming for world-class availability and spoilage with low inventory levels.
Work close with fulfillment and commercial to continuously improve customer satisfaction and cost.
Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers to enhance inbound logistics and mutual growth.
Promote an inclusive environment where all team members thrive, supporting their development, empowering them with autonomy, and purpose, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing internally and externally.
What you'll need to succeed
Achievement of continuous improvement goals in Replenishment practices, evidenced by enhanced quality, delivery precision, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Contribution to the development and implementation of effective departmental routines and standards, resulting in improved KPIs, OKRs, and compliance measures.
Optimization of product availability and fulfillment costs, demonstrated by reduced waste and enhanced cost-efficiency metrics.
Establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers, leading to improved inbound logistics and mutual growth opportunities.
Creation of an inclusive environment fostering team development, autonomy, and knowledge sharing, reflected in improved team performance, employee satisfaction, and internal/external collaboration metrics.
Independent work within the defined scope, requiring minimal support from extended management, peer countries, or the central organization.
What would be nice to have
Extensive background in replenishment operations, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve world-class quality and delivery precision.
Solid understanding of logistics and operational value chains
Proficiency in understanding cost drivers and dynamics to ensure product availability, minimize waste, and optimize fulfillment costs.
Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with suppliers
Strong leadership skills to promote an inclusive and high-performance environment where all team members thrive.
Ability to support team members' development, empower them with autonomy and purpose, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing internally and externally.
Fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish is required.
