This is an opportunity to participate and influence Eson Pac 's change and future growth
Eson Pac Group Procurement Team drive and optimize the performance of our industrial base. The Procurement team is responsible of ensuring we have a high performing supplier base supporting our business strategies. We are now looking for a Procurement manager to our team in the Eson Pac group. In this position, you will have a functional responsibility and three direct reports. In addition to managing and operating the purchasing unit, it is included in the assignment, as well as independently, executing procurements. You will be travelling, mostly in Sweden, approximately 30-60% yearly, depending on location. You will be reporting to Head of Procurement (Management Board)
Main responsibilities:
• Manage and develop employees by providing guidance, training, and motivation
• Create, constantly improve and implement purchasing process that drive significant value on Eson Pacs spend
• Ensures objectivity of purchasing process
• Sourcing, contracting and management of existing supplier base
• Participates in projects. Lead category team and drive common agenda with key stakeholder and strategic suppliers
• Drive performance improvements focusing on price, quality, lead-time and innovation
• Create and develop robust trusted relationships with stakeholders and top management to ensure that objectives are aligned and delivered
• Ensure that the purchasing process are in line with Eson Pac core values
Background
We are looking for you who have at least 10 years solid experience in Supply Chain and Category Management and several years as a Procurement Manager in a cross-functional and multi-site locations company. Experience in preparing monthly- and KPI reports.
Academic degree or equivalent are meritorious.
You are used to and have a proven track record to lead change management. You have been in charge of, or participated in, a medium or large scale company organizational transformation.
As an individual:
You are an excellent negotiator, have excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate to everyone in the organization including top level management.
You are an energetic and result oriented person. You act as a diplomatic and, when needed, tough leader and have the ability to lead other people in change. You are prestige less, shows enthusiasm and likes to collaborate.
Furthermore, you have both a strategic and an operational perspective and a clear business thinking.
Working time/duration:
The employment is permanent with a 6 months trial.
Location for the position is Veddige but can also be at one of our other sites.
Position/job is fulltime and requires travelling (30-60%) mostly in Sweden.
