We are a Shared Service center, and our mission is to deliver cost effective and value added services to the Nordic Business Units and Business Group Functions. Main areas of service include IT Services, Facility Management & Services, Real Estate Asset Management, HR-Services, Com Services, Purchasing and Accounting. We presently employ close to 630 people in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
In Vattenfall Nordic, the procurement function is governed by the Nordic Purchasing Board (NPB), headed by the Nordic CPO. The procurement operations are divided into 5 main areas; Generation, Distribution, Heat, Service and IT & Services.
We are now looking for a PAM to coordinate Consulting categories and suppliers for Vattenfall Nordic as well as for each area. NPB appoint the PAM's and categories.
The position belongs to the unit Purchasing IT & Services, and reports to the manager of Purchasing IT & Services.
Your role:
As PAM you shall have the strategic outlook on the supplier market and our business plans to coordinate and plan product categories, both in Vattenfall Nordic as well in cooperation with PAM's in Vattenfall Germany and Poland, with the ambition to optimize cost efficiency, quality and delivery. As a PAM you will have an active roll to contribute to the development of the procurement process.
Responsibilities:
• Develop sourcing strategies and plans for product categories in line with Vattenfall ambitions â€?Benchmark of the industryâ€? for the procurement of Consulting Services
• Drive the co-ordination and standardization work in the category
• To be an active partner in developing sourcing strategies for Nordic as well as for the areas
• Lead the activities within each category in order to support the efficiency in daily purchasing work
• Follow up and report on the results of the categories of products involved.
Qualifications:
• Academic degree within relevant area, or equivalent qualifications
• Several years of experience from procurement or sales of consulting services in a strategic position with regards to strategies sourcing on the international market
• Experience of international organizations
• Fluency in Swedish and English. Knowledge in German, Danish and/or Finnish is a merit

• Performance orientation and the ability to structure and prioritize
• Deep understanding of the key elements in negotiation
• Good knowledge of cooperation, communication and management of relations and an analytical ability
