What you will do?
As a Process Safety Engineer, you will belong to the Technology Department, a team of 10 colleagues, who are responsible for the maintenance of our site in Kristinehamn. You act as a significant advisor to the line organization by building and promoting a deep understanding of theoretical concepts, industry standards and best practices within PSM (Process Safety Management) and the PSM framework. You set the standard for the defining processes and routines related to PSM. Support the line in implementing these processes and routines and ensures that we work with the goal of improving process safety work at the facility. You communicate and show commitment to demonstrate the importance of the plant working towards a higher standard for process safety. Your duties are as follows:
• Owner of the process safety framework
• Act as the facility 's expert and support regarding process safety
• Guide the line organization so that they deliver according to the process safety policy
• Responsible SRE (Site Responsible Engineer) according to the framework for process safety, mainly applies to fixed assets, routines and working methods.
The position is full time until further notice, starting as soon as possible. You will be located at our site in Kristinehamn and report to the Engineering Manager.

In order for you to be successful in the role, we would like you to have a University degree in Process Safety and/or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. You have several years of relevant experience with assessment of critical maintenance, maintenance systems and technology preferable from AkzoNobel industry or similar. You have a very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems is an advantage.
