Linnaeus University is a modern, international university with Småland as its base and the world as its stage. We combine curiosity, creativity and utility with an entrepreneurial thinking in education and research. Seeing possibilities and believing in the future is part of what we do every day.

We now strengthen our prominent research by recruiting 21 postdoctoral fellows.

The Department of Education is part of the Faculty of Social Science. The research activities within Studies in Curriculum, Teaching and Evaluation (SITE) are rooted in social theory, oriented towards meaning and communication including both its foundational epistemic assumptions and empirical implications. Research includes study of educational reforms in international contexts, for example curriculum discourse formation, the processes by which curriculum is developed, and how it is transformed in pedagogical practices within national education systems and traditions. In a time of travelling reforms, borrowing and lending, comparative studies have been brought to the fore within the field of curriculum studies.

The research group seeks one postdoctoral researcher in education, with research experience in curriculum and policy research from a transnational perspective. The postdoctoral fellowship will be connected to the research group SITE.
