Here we have the research specialisation of Health and Welfare. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with county councils, municipalities and companies in the region.

Position description
We are looking for a post doc to join our research team on sustainable working life, lifestyle and health. The position is 80% research and 20% teaching for two years, with the possibility to be extended. The teaching part includes quantitative methods for students in public health on bachelor, master or PhD level. The research part includes statistical analyses of intervention and cohort studies.
The project is multidisciplinary and the overall aim is to develop a concept for the office of the future that promotes a healthy working life and lifestyle as well as contributes to sustainable development. There will be three studies: The first intervention study is on sustainable lifestyle and health with focus on food habits, physical activity, and sustainable development and second study is on the effect of green office work and will be conducted both indoor and outdoor. The type of data to be collected are questionnaire data, biomarkers, measurements using stress sensors and eye tracking devises as well as photo images and audio narratives, and most of the data will be collected in Stockholm and Västerås. The cohort study comprises data from approximately 50 000 participants and covers both questionnaire data and clinical data.
The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary research team with PhD students, post docs and senior researchers, including senior biostatistician. The candidate is expected to conduct independent research and to participate in research meetings and seminars, writing of research papers and grants, attend international conferences and interact with our collaborators at Linköping University, Karolinska Institutet, Oxford University, University of Bicocca-Milano, and Stanford University and the companies involved in the project.

Qualifications requirements
The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in statistics or epidemiology . The applicant must have completed the degree no more than three years before the end of the application period.
Managing and analysing data are central parts of the position and the candidate is expected to be well-organized, thorough, work independently and be able to interact with others.
Decisive importance is attached to personal suitability. We value the qualities that an even distribution of age and gender, as well as ethnic and cultural diversity, can contribute to the organisation.
Merit
Qualifications that are considered to be a merit are documented experience of biostatistics work and analysis of research on lifestyle related factors including diet, health and chronical diseases, as well as statistical analyses of randomized controlled trails and cohort studies. Extensive experience from using the statistical software STATA and R is a merit. Also, excellent skills in English, both in writing and orally, understanding Swedish and previous experience of teaching are merits.
