Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division (BD) Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in five countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is the key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 365 employees.
We are now looking for a:
Portfolio Risk Analyst
The right person will support BD Renewables across all our investment activities. In the role as Portfolio Risk Analyst you will be a key resource in strengthen the Risk Management function within Business Division Renewables. Your main task is to support Project & Portfolio Risk Management in across Business Division Renewables project portfolio. You will report directly to the BD Renewables Head of Finance and work in close interaction with other stakeholders particularly the BD Renewables Portfolio Manager.
Job description
• Preparing and developing BD Renewables Risk reports
• Leading Risk workshops for Generation-, Onshore Wind-, Offshore wind- and Biomass projects
• Pro-actively engage project teams and closely cooperate with to ensure proper identification and assessment of risks.
• Developing , continuously refining and applying the risk identification processes as well as providing structured feedback and advice on ongoing projects
• Leading implementation projects to adapt to Group Risk Management requirements , including system development
• Support development of tailor-made risk methods and systems that fit the Business Units specific needs. * Travelling 25-40% of time will be required
Qualifications
• You hold a relevant academic exam with preference for analytical subjects in the field of Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Physics
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant position
• You have a thorough, by professional experience, understanding for energy assets and markets
• You have a highly developed skill in Excel and PowerPoint
• You communicate in English on an advanced level. An additional European language is desirable
• Programming experience and knowledge in software programs as SAS and Crystal ball will be considered a merit

To be successful in this roll you have to have a commercial mindset, analytical skills and the ability to quickly establish links between related issues. You have a strong determination to deliver results and the ability to prioritise between competing requirements. Your communication skills are very well developed and you have true interest to learn from international and cross cultural work.
Location is flexibel in Stockholm, Amsterdam or Berlin
