hela Sverige The Machine Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a PIM Content Manager Engineer.
Description of directorate/division
Engineering & Integration Support Division provides the skills, tools and the resources for the design engineering work at ESS and its collaboration. The division works cross functional through the organization and is a service to the different projects.
The division consists of both Integration, Survey & Alignment, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD Management and support personnel as well as the designers needed for the process of designing, building and maintaining the ESS site and machine.
Description of main responsibilities
As the content manager you are responsible for the structuring of the technical structures in CHESS (ESS PLM system) and for ensuring that they are populated with documented information from the projects. As chair of the PIM (Project Information Management) Content Management Work Grou, coordinating the work and verifying that it works within the mandate. You are responsible for developing and implementing procedures, rules and guidelines concertning and supporting the technical structrues and their related information.
You will report to the PIM steering group and the Head of Engineering & Integration Support Division.
Qualifications
• 5 years experience in project management and buisiness analysis.
• Experience from working in a scientific development project environment.
• Experience in structuring information in PLM systems.
• Experience from working in technical or IT implementation projects
• Bachelor or equivalent experience is a merit.
• Experience of working in an international environment is essential.
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
To be successful and perform well in this position you have demonstrated good leadership skills and training skills. You have a strong ability to communicate and coordinate between different projects stakeholders.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
