If you like technical challenges this position in the Engine Calibration- and Performance team is a good opportunity. The team 's the challenges includes define concepts, strategies and data setting for Engine and Exhaust Aftertreatment system, to meet future demand on legal emission requirement and reduce fuel consumption. Powertrain Engineering has development centers in France, USA and Japan that we co-operate with in order to reach our objectives.
Task:
The position is in the Engine Calibration- and Performance team in Gothenburg. Tasks for the team are data setting for Engine and Exhaust Aftertreatment system that affect engine performance and emissions Tasks also contain defining engine HW specification (Fuel injection equipment, Turbo, EGR system, Combustion bowl etc).
The data setting and HW specification should meet the defined project requirements (such as emission demands, fuel consumption, drivability, etc). This is done by engine testing, simulations and using analysis tools (calculation models) within the project together with the advanced engineering, design -, function -, and calibration group. Experimental work in vehicle and method development will also be a part of the work. Expeditions in warm and cold climate are also included.

Qualifications:
Master of Science in combustion area, energy or similar technical education is preferred Experience from engine development, engine testing or engine calibration. Fluent English (both spoken and written).
You have a positive attitude and a drive to deliver results in time. You also have ability to interact and cooperate effectively.
License for truck (CE) is a merit.
