This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to Division HR Manager, RARO.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Global Mobility within Performance & Reward in a global organization. You will collaborate with diverse teams across +40 countries, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to building a modern, data-driven total rewards function. We are working with both long- and short-term assignments as well as project workers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and governance of the global mobility strategy
Ensure alignment of mobility programs with business goals, HR strategy, and total rewards philosophy, while maintaining compliance.
Oversee outsourced administration of international assignments, partnering with external vendors, local HR teams, and HR Services to ensure seamless execution.
Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and billing accuracy, while driving continuous improvement of mobility processes and policies.
Monitor global mobility trends and conduct benchmarking to maintain a competitive and cost-effective mobility portfolio, exploring opportunities for automation and simplification.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide expert consultation and guidance to HR and business leaders on mobility-related matters, lead communications and training initiatives, and act as process owner for your area.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in global mobility strategy and program management across multiple regions for at least five years
Strong understanding of international assignments, tax and immigration considerations, and vendor management
Ability to manage external providers and to ensure alignment with global mobility policies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse geographies
Analytical mindset with experience in benchmarking and market analysis
Familiarity with mobility-related systems, tools, and vendors, with the ability to work independently in a complex environment
