We operate a fleet globally of over 60 vessels. Through investments, acquisition and strategic alliances, we have built a strong portfolio of inland services such as transportation of and pre-delivery services on vehicles. We also manage our own terminals in several ports.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) is looking for a candidate to work as a Performance Analyst within its Ocean Operations division. The position is located in our Stockholm office within the Ocean Operations Center and reports to the Team Leader for the Performance team in Stockholm.
You will be part of a team in Stockholm consisting of the Team Leader and two analysts. As a member of the Stockholm team you are also part of the greater Ocean Performance team with colleagues in Oslo (Central office) and El Salvador (resource center).
As a Performance Analyst in the Ocean Operations division, you will work closely with both Trade and Operations functions, as well as Finance and IT in order to gather intelligence, produce accurate and timely financial reporting, analyze and present results and KPI's.
Main Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver the best possible quality voyage financials and KPIs.
• Analyze variations and deviations towards targets and recommend performance improvement measures.
• Ensure consistent reporting and corporate control within global guidelines.
• Stewardship for standard costs, conversion factors, reporting hierarchies, mappings, metadata, and all other operations data (supported by resource center).
• Support other Ocean Operations functions in understanding performance drivers and result impacts. In particular, you will be responsible for:
• Creating and following up the voyage result calculation on a monthly basis
• Consolidating the budget & forecast & actual
• Consolidating and gathering ad hoc performance data
• The Voyage Closing Process, including cost control and deviation analysis between standard cost and actual invoices
• Recognizing result deviations and making those transparent
• Analysing budget/actual/forecast
• Identifying performance improvement measures
• Post Voyage Analysis & Ad hoc analysis
• Continuous process improvements and simplifications
Publiceringsdatum2016-07-15Kvalifikationer• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• University degree, preferably with a science, economic or mathematical major
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience from working with IBM Cognos Planning tools like CEP or TM1 is highly valuable
• Experience from working with BI tools like Qlikview, Tableau or similar
• Some basic knowledge of SQL could be beneficial
• Previous experience from working with result, forecast and budget production
• Advanced ability to develop solutions and suggest changes to processes based on root cause analysis.
• Understanding of Corporate Compliance
• Cross cultural understanding . Great team player and good spirits
• Excellent command of English - both written and spoken (English is WWL's working language).
