We provide innovative solutions for automating sports video recording, video analysis and streaming of all levels of sports - all over the world. We operate globally with all levels of sports- from elite to amateur and senior to youth and partner with some of the most well-known leagues and teams in the world.

Founded in Malmö in 2012, Spiideo has grown and scaled internationally and we are now around 100 employees, mainly located at our headquarters in central Malmö. In addition we have a company entity in the US and smaller presence in a couple of other countries.

We are now seeking a skilled People & Culture Manager to join our team on a temporary contract to cover for a maternity leave. This is a temporary position, with an expected duration of approximately 12-14 months, with start date latest in September 2023.

Role Overview

As our People & Culture Manager, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement and play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that sets the right prerequisites for a great people experience throughout the full employment lifecycle.

You will be driving the people strategy, leading the People & Culture team and representing People & Culture in our executive management team. As a small team of two, the work is a mix of operational and strategic work where you will get the opportunity to work internationally with the full spectrum of P&C areas and responsibilities.

You will be responsible for overseeing and developing various people areas and initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and supporting the overall wellbeing and engagement of our employees.

You need to have genuine desire to create structure, while bringing new ideas and initiatives to the table and overall have the capability to drive a modern people function with a great people experience in focus, where scalable processes, good tooling and data-driven decisions are key.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, lead and manage global and local projects related to people processes, policies and initiatives in line with local regulations and company values

• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work culture

• Analyse employee engagement survey data and provide insights and recommendations to management

• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, feedback processes and personal development

• Support and improve employer branding, recruitment- and onboarding processes

• Oversee compensation, benefits and payroll (payroll is outsourced today but you will act as the main interface between Spiideo and our external suppliers and ensure that that everything runs smoothly and that payroll is issued correctly and on time)

• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace

• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and general HR industry trends and best practices

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including management and finance, to align people initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

• An HR generalist background where you have been facing and working with most aspects within a people's function

• Minimum of 2 years of working professionally in an HR role

• In-depth knowledge of Swedish employment laws and regulations

• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and in English (both written and verbal)

• Comfortable working with modern HR tools (at minimum an ATS and an HRIS) and comfortable working with Google Suite products

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with employees and managers from various backgrounds on daily basis

• An agile mindset and a genuine interest to explore new ways of working

• A passion for DE&I

• Working in an international company is very meriting, especially towards the US and/or with different EOR or PEO partners

• Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is preferred, so is previous experience of a start- or scale up

• It's a bonus if you have specific experience in tech or sales recruitment

Location

This is a full-time, onsite/hybrid position on a temporary contract based in Malmö, Sweden, which is Spiideo's headquarters. You will report to our CEO who is also based in Malmö.
