Breas Medical AB develops manufactures and market devices for breathing assistance. We are now in a phase where a new generation devices will be developed. For our Post analysis tool development we therefore need to recruit a PC Software design engineer.
As PC software designer you will work with maintenance and new development of a PC-based data presentation system for Breas breathing products. The position involves a lot of responsibility, but also projects where you will work with your colleagues in the software group. The engineering department consists of 24 persons covering all areas such as mechanical, electronics, embedded software, V&V and manuals.
As PC software designer at Breas Medical you will be responsible for the PC software development and you will have the responsibility to plan the software development according to project plans.
AS a PC software designer you duties are:
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating user requirement specifications and define problem and propose a solution for the stated problems.
Develop technical documentation for the defined solution.
Document solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Develop test criteria for unit test, integration tests and in cooperation with out V&V department develop black box and system tests.
Participate in develop processes in software development to increase quality.
Maintenance of our existing products.
You have an M Sc degree or similar university degree in software and at least 5-10 years? experience in software programming. You are very knowledgeable in software testing and GUI design. It is important that you have good knowledge in JAVA and C++ and good familiarity with developing tools IntelliJ IDEA and Microsoft Visual Studio. It is also a merit if you have knowledge and insight in medical systems and the regulatory requirements. You have a good knowledge of spoken and written English.
As a person you are good in pursuing your ideas and to work independently. You are structured and have a drive to fulfill the requirements set on your job position. Since development is mainly project driven you are a person that likes to work in groups in a project that requires you to cooperate with colleagues.
