Our customers are within the Pharmaceutical-, Biotech- and Medtech companies. We focus on positions within R&D, QA, QC, Clinical Research, Marketing and Sales. We are now recruiting a Parasitologist, preferably the candidate start as soon as possible, location North Carolina - USA.

Primarily responsible for biological evaluation of compounds effective against animal health endoparasites. Looking for a PhD with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in industry or working with industrial collaborators during educational training. Responsibilities include leading the planning, development and execution of in-house tests, out-sourced work, and the reporting and presentation of results from ex vivo bioassays and in vivo studies conducted as part of the screening process to discover endoparastic compounds for development.

• This is a bench position
• Animal health experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with ?helminth? research a plus -- A worm classified as a parasite. (A parasite is a disease-causing organism that lives on or in a human or another animal and derives its nourishment from its host.)
