hela Sverige Siemens Power Generation Services Wind Power currently is seeking an Operations Manager who will be responsible to manage service operations for our sites in southern and middle Sweden.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all issues related to technical services at the assigned Wind sites with a focus on maintaining the highest level of safety, quality and customer service
• Directly responsible for all site managers, and local support functions
• Responsible for resource planning, allocation of resources and recruitment
• Responsible to oversee the planning of the annual service schedule
• Act as single point of contact for customers, facilitating resolution on all service contract, warranty and new unit commissioning inquiries
• Be directly involved in the negotiations on renewed service contracts
• Develop and manage a site budget, possess a clear understanding of the financial performance of service contracts and be able to implement change where appropriate
• Oversee the monthly reporting to internal and external customers, tracking of retrofit projects in assigned areas and reporting to Regional and Global Headquarters for division
• Responsible for sub suppliers for the local business
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering or in related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• PMP certification and strong project management skills are assets
• 5 years of successful operations management and leadership experience in a directly related field such as technical services or similar (manufacturing, engineering, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in the energy business and preferably Wind Power business is a definite asset
• Demonstrates full understanding and application of team management approaches for work direction, motivation and performance management
• Must have solid experience in managing contracts coupled with a strong business acumen
• Demonstrated understanding of financial and general business concepts
• Strong negotiation and excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
• Experience managing multiple employees and other managers
• Candidate must be able and willing to frequently travel in Sweden, Denmark and Germany
