The position
In this position you will work closely together with the Trans Ocean Nordic Sales Manager by assisting the customer service handling of all aspects of the operations from creation/receipt of the orders in FLOW (The Company's in-house management system) through to the delivery to final destination and the correct handling of the economics.
Main activities
• Take ownership for your customer's orders from receipt of the order, the processing, delivery and final invoicing. Including the income side as well as cost side.
• Provide administration support to local management.
• Local stock management.
• Follow instructions from your line manager on the day to day running of your desk, including monitoring and updating cargo status, within your responsibility and utilising the diary function in FLOW.
• Keep cost breaks up to date.
• Make use of the most economic transport solution by use of costs breaks, QRS or Managers instructions.
• Report service irregularities from service providers to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure the data entered into FLOW is entered accurately and in line with your line manager's instructions. Make improvements where necessary.
• Preparation of necessary import/export documentation (bills of lading, invoices, customs documentation, etc).
• Issuing the incident report at the first stage of a claim development.
• Provide prompt, efficient and regular communication with Operations Manager / Management on all aspects of the documentation/orders/bookings as requested.
• Have an open, honest attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Update customer profiles and SOP's as requested by your line manager.
• Ensure time is taken to learn about Trans Oceans / JF Hillebrand and follow the induction process.
• Learn about the Trans Ocean products like, insurance, AxisII, etc.
• Comply with all safety instruction as advised by your manager.
• Read & adhere to Group Policies & Procedures.
• Be responsible for following your development plan.
The candidate and key competencies
The candidate we are looking for should have past experience from forwarding or shipping and have well documented operational experience.

The Swedish Trans Ocean office is located in Johanneshov/Stockholm together with JF Hillebrand.
