General Overview: The Regional Operations Manager will oversee all Grundens Operations in his/her region. This includes inventory management and procurement, cash flow management, sales fulfillment, customer service, manage product update into business system and overall day to day operations.
Reporting: This position is part of the Operations Department and will report to the Head of the Region.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Annual and Monthly budget in regards to purchases, receivables and work closely with Accounting to determine payables including payroll etc.
• Manage daily operations related to fulfillment and customer service inside GRAB
• Work closely with Supply Chain staff to ensure inventories are maintained at a proper level.
• Maintain daily communication with factories and vendors to resolve production issues.
• Operations Department
• Act as the "Go To" Person for questions from staff and customers regarding pricing, freight, incentive programs, stock status and daily procedures.
• Costing - Responsible for maintaining costing efforts and changes to costing as effected by changes in trims, fit etc.
• Keep Operations up to date on delivery times, lead times etc.
• Help Negotiate MOQ's and pricing.
• Manage incoming shipments with forwarders and vendors
• Customer Service
• Be support to act at customer service department peak periods.
• Supply Chain
• Act as the head Supply Chain for region.
• Monitor freight costs and negotiate freight terms with carriers
• Continue to push for cost savings in the region.
• Sales Interaction
• Must work closely with the Sales Manager of the Region to ensure sales programs, slow moving inventory and other key tasks are communicated throughout the sales force.
• Responsible for updating business system with accurate pricing and margin control.
