A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Operational Product Support Engineer, with focus to operational support, you will be responsible for performing operational analyses and work with technical questions related to the operation of the gas turbine. You are part of team with engaged and well experience colleagues that together will handle complex technical issues related to our SGT-800.
We believe in a combination of work from office in Finspång with an opportunity to work from home-office to have a good balance between focused work and team collaboration and allows you to have a flexibility in your daily life.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Provide support and recommendations for complex operational issues and technical issues for SGT-800.
* Prepare instructions for site trouble shooting and rectifications.
* You will perform analyses of operational data, event list and control logic to support identifying the cause for a technical issue and give recommendations within the control & mechanical systems area.
* Perform analyses of fleet operational data to support resolving major technical issues.
* Prepare customer communication material and attend in customer meetings.
* Be part of a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) team for investigations of the root cause for major issues. You will support by performing analyses of operational data and with knowledge within the operational and control & electric area.
* Work with continuously improvements within the technical support area to improve instructions and way of working.
* Have the great opportunity to develop yourself by working with mechanical systems and core engine to develop a wide knowledge of all components and systems of SGT-800 gas turbine.
What You Bring
* A technical background relevant for gas turbine engineering. It can be a technical degree or similar work experience.
* A good product knowledge from the operation and control of gas turbine from site commissioning, operational support, engineering or corresponding.
* You take responsibility to derive recommendations based on own know-how, support from our team and by using a network of experts within different fields.
* You are eager to learn within new technical areas, thrilled to meet new challenges and driven to ensure that we are handling technical issues in the best possible way to meet our customers' expectations.
* Good communication skills in English both written and verbally.
About the Team
You will be part of our SGT-800 Product Support Team that consist of 10 persons. We work with both proactive and reactive support to ensure a high product reliability and customer satisfaction thru the whole product life cycle. Based on the growing fleet we are now extending the team with several new positions.
In the team we have persons with long experience from our gas turbines. We have a continuously open dialog about ongoing tasks and support each other to find a good and reliable solution for our customers.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
