What we offer
Parts Supply & Logistics are the responsible the logistics unit within Volvo Global Customer Service which includes procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to Volvo's customers throughout the world. The business is built around central warehouses in Gothenburg and Shanghai and over 50 support warehouses around the world.
Global Transport Management is a part of Parts Supply & Logistics who is responsible for procurement of transports, Exportation of spare parts from Central Warehouse in Gothenburg throughout international markets.
We are now searching for a motivated and dedicated team member for a temporary position for evening shift, training will however be performed during day-time. Duration is approximately one year, replacement is for maternity leave.
Scope:
Transport Management team's deliverables is to secure export of parts and accessories in right time. We export parts to our network in all transport modes such as road; air; sea. To be able to export our parts we book capacity in our contracted suppliers systems and customs declare parts. We secure right documentation to be sent to chamber of commerce and banks, we issue dangerous goods documentations and label collies before departure.
Connected to transports we analyse and approve all incoming transport invoices for the full transport network.
Collaboration across departments and with external parties is very important to make sure we have a high customer satisfaction and do not delay cargo for any reason.
Your key tasks
Operational Export Coordinator's key responsibilities will be to secure right input in systems related to invoicing; book capacity; create various export documentations; issue and handle customs questions.
You will have continuously dialogue with internal order office regarding questions and order releases as well as frequent dialogue with production in warehouse regarding packed orders.
You will have daily contact with logistics suppliers.
You are also responsible to mark dangerous goods collies.
Furthermore in this position, you will work during evening shift and have a more analytic role regarding invoice control.
You and your skills
Education within Logistics from University or YH is a requirement.
Good skills in English both written and spoken.
Junior experience from equivalent position and experience from working within SAP are meritorious.
On a personal level
You like to work in teams but are not afraid to work independently and take initiatives. To deliver according to set targets will not be a problem for you.
In this role you need to be detailed oriented, organized, and understand the full picture of the complex networks we have.
