Main responsibilities
As the Operation Director you are responsible for the production at our site in Hörby with focus on organization development and to work with continuous improvements through our awarded LEAN program, Medical Excellence. You will represent the factory in industrialization projects in close contact with our customers. You will be responsible for four production leaders, one logistic manager and a maintenance manager and their staff of about 120 people.
You report directly to the Managing Director and will be a member of MediTech's management team.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who is well experienced in managing a technical production fascility and thrive in the work with continuous improvements.You need to be a good leader who can keep our organization to develop and prioritize between the demands of production capacity and new projects.To succeed in the job, we believe that you have the following background:
• Master degree or similar level in experience
• High level of technical competence
• Proven successful leadership managing production teams.
• Good knowledge of high volume production and automatization
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.
• It is an advantage to have insight and understanding of the medical device industry regarding regulatory requirements, GMP, etc.
• It is also an advantage if you have experience of injection molding and polymer materials.
