Description of directorate/division
The General Services Division supplies you with a first smile and greeting when you arrive, and a warm goodbye when you leave. We are here for all our visitors. The division is also responsible for the switchboard, handling goods, office supplies, office support, office planning and a lot more.
Description of main responsibilities
As an office caretaker you will be part of ESS 1st line support for the service desk. The work include
• Furnishing of ESS offices including assembly and moving of furnitures
• Ordering of equipment and furnitures and 3rd party services
• Goods handling.
• Supporting the reception on occassion
• Technical support and furnishing assistance to meetings and conferences with technical and practical matters
• Administering of incidents (felanmälningar) and services to the landlord and 3rd party suppliers
• Support facility officer with long term office planning
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced office caretaker, preferably with previous experience from servicing larger organisations, both offices and industry. Good knowledge of working with computers and relevant it-systems (asset management, service management tool, ordering of goods etc.) is important.
You need to be practical and handy. As the work includes moving furniture and sometimes other heavy work you need a certain level of physical strength.
You should be service-minded and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You have to be able to take own initiatives, be communicative and solution oriented. As the work consists of many different responsiblities and tasks it is important to have ability to handle stressful situations and know how to prioritise the work. You need to be able to handle both internal and external relations in a professional and collaborative manner. ESS corporate language is english and with 40 nationalities being represented in the staff you need to be able to communicate in English, both in writing and orally.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
