Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet Södermalm, IEGS, is an independent upper- secondary school beautifully located on Södermalm, just two minutes from Skanstull T-bana and five minutes from Stockholm Söder Station.
The school is comprised of 700 students. IEGS has a strong tradition of academic excellence, an international profile, and commitment to preparing students for higher education.
Enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified staff member is required to join our successful team of educators.
As the school nurse you will be an important member of the student care team, collaborating with the school management team, teachers and councelors. You will be required to follow the social welfare guidelines (socialstyrelsen), health checks and give vaccinations. In addition, you will be expected to offer advice and guideance regarding health care to students, taking care of any minor ailments or afflictions.
In future the post may be extended to the successful candidate who can offer school counselling.
Qualifications: nurse, preferably qualified as a school nurse or as a district or paediatric nurse.
The language of communication at IEGS is English and you are therefore expected to be able to carry out your duties fully in an English-speaking environment.
