Compensation:
The position will command a Base salary that will be complimented by a generous commission scheme that will be structured to reflect the degree of success achieved in developing new profitable business.

Our client is a global publicly traded food ingredient manufacturer with revenue of USD 1,1 billion.
The main business is business-to-business, supplying ingredients to the food processing industry and other related industries.
The company is a leading supplier on the world market for dehydrated vegetables and flavours. The organization offers the widest range of dehydrated products from their own production locations in Europe, USA and Asia. Typical products are dried onions; garlic, bell peppers, carrots, peas, green beans and cabbages, as well as freeze dried and puffed products. This wide product range and global production position allows to offer fit for use dehydrated ingredients to all food industry segments. Major clients are companies like Unilever, Campbell, Nestlé, Heinz, Danone and other leading producers in the food industry.
Our client is an increasingly successful organization with a great potential. Its future strategy is based on growth, also possibly through acquisition.
THE POSITION
This is a new position that has been created to both consolidate the market position with our existing customers within these key territories while, at the same time, identifying and developing additional customers and revenue streams.
This is a truly challenging position. The company is in Europe a successful and well-respected company that is the primary supplier to the major food companies both in Europe and Worldwide. We now see substantial opportunities to develop the product portfolio throughout the Food Industry in the Nordic region. The successful candidate will be challenged with overseeing a significant growth in sales volume/value within the territory.
Major Responsibilities:
Although taking on an existing customer base that will need to be managed, this will also include a 'path finding' position into a new customer base and although fully supported by the Commercial Director, the success will be very much determined by the tenacity, commitment and drive of the successful candidate.
• Maintain and increase sales with current accounts to meet sales goals
• Obtain additional sales revenue through new direct account development
• Review and supervise broker / agent activities.
• Develop and review regional sales forecasts and manage contract sales
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies that support overall sales objectives.
• Manage and control sales expense.
• Other duties and functions as assigned.
• Working closely with the Dehydrated Vegetable Product Manager on NPD projects and opportunities
Requirements:
1) 5 - 10+ years Sales Experience in the food industry
2) Fluency in English and Swedish
3) Conduct of other Scandinavian languages are beneficial
4) Willingness to travel min. 50%
