hela Sverige We are looking for a network technician to a global project with location in Stockholm.
Your will work as a technical resource in a project team responsible for the roll out of a new communication solution to our stores.
We would like you to have worked within the Network communication area for at least 3 years. As part of the project team you will be responsible for quality, service and communication to our suppliers and customers during roll-out.
The role is mainly coordination, design, support, documentation and providing technical expertise within LAN, WAN and IP telephony. Some hands on configuration might also be included.
You must have experience from working in projects and conform to planning, reporting and structure requirements.
The work is managed remotely from Stockholm but due to different time zones there might be work outside office hours for some activities. There could be some traveling to other countries.
TASKS
• Participate in projects representing Network communication
• Implement new and standardized technical solutions within the communication area
• Maintain the communication with our external suppliers and customers
• Inventory and documentation
• Order of services from our suppliers
• Problem solving
• Be part of the analysis, design and test phases before implementation
• Capacity planning
REQUIRED COMPETENCE
At least 3 years of experience from operating large communication networks and design
• Good knowledge in computer network (TCPIP, switching and routing)
• Quality of Service (QoS)
• Firewalls
• Scripting
• SIP, ISDN
• VOIP, call manager, Softphone, presence and chat
• Good written and oral English skills
• Basic ITIL and project method (e.g. PPS) knowledge
• Good skills in creating documentation, configuration templates and processes for others to follow.
Preferred but not essential
