We are now looking for the right person to fill an open position as a Network Specialist in our Infrastructure team within the IT department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Being a network specialist at Axis means that you will be working with exciting technology in a very talented and devoted team. We offer a fast-paced, innovative, team-oriented culture characterized by openness, with opportunities to grow as a professional and as an individual. You will be working with Axis colleagues and infrastructure all other the world.
In this role you will be involved in different kinds of IT projects together with many different parts of the company and work with analysis, design and implementation. As a specialist you will also be involved in advanced troubleshooting and problem solving (3rd level).
There will be some extent of travelling and can also be on-call duty if needed.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a technical degree or equivalent work experience. You have deep knowledge of different kinds of IT environments and expert level competence in networking environments.
Furthermore, we think you are an open-minded and result-oriented person that can work well on your own and in a team. As teamwork is crucial for Axis, it's important that you can contribute to a good team spirit in a high-pressure environment. Your communication and listening skills are excellent, you have a strong sense of responsibility and are good at taking initiative. In addition to the above, experience from some of the following areas is important:
• Cisco routers and switches
• HP switches
• LAN, VLAN, WLAN & WAN technologies
• Routing - OSPF and BGP
• Firewalls - Cisco and BSD PF
• IPv6
• Radius
• TCP/IP
• NAT
THE IT DEPARTMENT
IT Group is an internal service organization working with IT infrastructure, design, implementation, analysis, operation & support.
We are located at Axis headquarter in Lund but operate globally at Axis subsidiaries, CLC's and production sites. IT Group consists of three different teams, Helpdesk, Operation and Infrastructure.
