hela Sverige For our customer we are looking for a talented, newly graduated engineer/network designer. We would also be interested in a more experienced engineer/network designer.
Job description:
As Network Designer you will develop and document the IP network solutions, working very closely with the IPNS network integrators for Proof of Concept testing and network solution verification. You will also be in contact with systems management and solution I&V organizations of the respective systems.
We work in small teams where planning solution design and early verification are performed in a lean way of working. All members of the team works with all the tasks. You will have interaction and collaboration with different parts of the organization.
If you want to work with cutting edge technology within the areas of IP Network Solutions, forming the next generation of communication systems, this is the job for you.
Required skills:
IP solution design, including:
• Routing protocol operation – BGP, OSPF, ISIS.
• Switching technologies – VLANs, QinQ
• L2/L3 redundancy mechanisms
• Routers, switchers and firewalls
Preferred skills:
These skills are not required but it will be meritorious if you have experience of the following:
• End to end service and top-down network design, resulting in innovated network solutions.
• Designing large scale IP infrastructure for voice or video solutions.
• Telecom operators and/or technical sales support regarding network solutions.
• Hands-on work.
