We are looking for a in-house Music Composer to create dynamic and interactive musical soundscapes to accompany and enhance player experience, and the narrative design of the AAA game OVERKILL's The Walking Dead and future projects.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the audio team to design and produce original music content in accordance to the project's design vision.
• Record, produce, mix and master music.
• Implement interactive music using Wwise and proprietary tools.
• Drive the vision for the music-style of a project.
• Collaborating with narrative design team.
• Collaborating with level design / audio design / programming teams to provide input and direction to achieve interactive music.
• Create linear music experiences for cinematics and trailers.
• Playtesting and debugging of game audio.
Requirements
• Experience working as a music composer in the video game industry.
• Excellent understanding of implementation of interactive music.
• Extensive musical knowledge as a musician and/or composer.
• Knowledge working in the audio middleware Wwise.
• Advanced experience of working in digital audio workstations.
• Knowledge and understanding of the video game development process.
• Experience of working with game engines.
• Knows how to play and record a variety instruments.
• Excellent English (oral and written) communication skills.
• Great with time estimations, organization and prioritizing.
• Musical proficiency.
Bonus Qualities
• Experience in instrumentation and orchestrating.
