The Modality Planner is accountable for the global Sales and Operation Planning process cooperating with Commercial Region?s, Product P&L?s and Manufacturing. Your key focus is through the S&OP process understand and positively influence On Time Delivery and our Inventory metrics as well as simplifying demand and supply management globally.
Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Leads fulfillment of all customer orders for products or a Region, providing detailed monthly and quarterly fulfilment forecasts to manufacturing and materials teams and/or the Regional Commercial Operations function
Reports production build plan and forecast to Senior Management highlighting variances to OP or FC
Manages finished goods inventory levels globally for a particular group of products or regionally for all products across plants and warehouses
Leads inventory management for a particular group of products or region
Leads cross-functional team to define, prioritize, and track closure of fulfilment issues in supply chain
Influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization including senior leadership, acting as primary supply chain owner for the product portfolio or Region Responsible for the product forecasting process and flowdown from regional Commercial teams to manufacturing teams and reviewing/communicating forecast accuracy
Qualifications/Requirements
Quality Specific Goals:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree and strong years of supply chain or operations experience or High School Diploma and previous experience from working with Sales and Operation Planning. Strong influencing skills to drive cooperation and transparent communication in a global matrix environment.
Demonstrated process analytical skills including proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience from Driving Change with Global and Cross functional teams.
Desired Characteristics
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
Boundary-less thinker
APICS / other supply chain certification
MBA or Master?s degree
OMLP or other leadership program graduate
Experience deploying
globally impactful supply/demand KPI?s, including MAPE forecast accuracy,
statistical planning methodologies, inventory turns, and SCOT
Demantra (preferred) or
other ERP/Planning system experience
Working knowledge of GE
Healthcare inventory policies/ inventory generating processes, Including SII/OP
