hela Sverige We are looking for a co-worker to our awesome Windows team at Scania IT Infrastructure department.
We have a small team of SQL DBAs and we want to strengthen with an experienced enterprise DBA to accelerate the automatization and modernization of our delivery. The job is about to have overall technical responsibility for our SQL Server environments at the infrastructural and database administrator level, to secure the strategy, development, and implementation of technical roadmaps, deployment process, and quality of service. To be successful in the role and at Scania generally, you will need to have a curious and positive attitude in assisting colleagues within the team and organization.
Key responsibilities in this role
• Drive the team forward with solutions and deliveries
• Develop the platform and work with improvements
• Be part of the evaluation of our future hybrid environments and container solutions
• Assure and deliver documentation of the work and solutions
• Support the organization with complex technical troubleshooting
Skills
• You have demonstrable experience managing and deploying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 2019 including SSRS/SSAS/SSIS
• You master PowerShell, as a creator of automatization solutions
• You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
• You have good communication skills, are self-motivating, and are a confident and a humble team player
Education/Experience
• Relevant academic education and/or equivalent work experience in the area of work
• Experience in enterprise environments
• Knowledge of management of large MS SQL Server environments, tools, and products
• Fluent in English both oral and written is a must

The team office base is in Södertälje but we work mostly "from where we are awesome". That is within the boundaries of a good sustainable work environment.
