Job responsibilities
• Design/develop circuit boards (PCB) for 3D printers
• Troubleshoot electronics
• Solder electronics, including on circuit boards
• Perform test and verification on electronic systems
• Perform embedded programming using C/C++
• Participating in root cause analysis to enhance the on-going quality of products
• Provide detailed technical documentation and technical reports
• Must be industrious
• Must highly explore new ideas, platforms and methods for progress
Your qualifications
• Experience from PCB assembly/design
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in handling electronic diagnostic tools, such as Multi-meters and Oscilloscopes.
• Experience in one or several PCB Design Software, meritorious is from Eagle.
• Experience in programming for embedded systems with focus on Microcontrollers, meritorious is from STM32 and ATmega
• Good communication in English (oral and written).
• Meritorious is experience from EMC, Electromechanical Systems and Mechanical Design
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define system requirements for new features, validate design changes, and assess performance
• Design and run tests to validate new functionality without breaking existing features
• Use insights gained from field and manufacturing data to improve our products
• Be a hands-on engineer well versed in hardware debugging and experimental design
• Be an adventurous engineer while developing boards and codes
• Be a fluent programmer who can use code to work more efficiently
• 2+ years electronics design/development utilizing microcontrollers
• 2+ years firmware design/development
• 2+ years test experience (hardware design verification, embedded firmware test and production electrical test). Automated test experience
