Now we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Extended Video Products mechanical engineering team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a member of the EVP mechanical engineering team you will take an active part in projects with a broad product portfolio from accessories to new innovative cameras. You will work with advanced technology in a team of experienced engineers. Your role will be mechanical engineering with daily collaboration with electro engineers, industrial design and quality assurance among other. The daily work as a designer of EVP could be anything from creating new concepts, designing mechanical solutions, testing and building prototypes as well as discussing use cases with peoples of different disciplines within the company. You will have a great responsibility in developing new products, often from the early idea-stage and follow it to a finished product.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will take an active part in EVP mechanical development team. You are driven and positive in your daily work. You also enjoy to work together with your team in order to reach common goals. You are energetic, creative and like to work with new ideas. Specific experiences from optics, tooling, production, mechanical/environmental testing, heat transfer, sheet metal and EMC is highly valued and will come in use in your daily work. Experience in 3D CAD (preferably Creo) is an advantage.
In addition to above we believe that you have:
• A degree in mechanical engineering
• At least 3 years' experience within mechanical design
• Experience from product development
• Experience from plastic- and/or die cast design

EVP develop products outside the Base Video Products area with focus on innovation and new opportunities. We are characterized by innovation and often start with a clean sheet and have the opportunity to see the project evolve to a finished product. We welcome new ideas and inspiration.
