We are looking for development engineers for the Global R&D function, Power Wheelchair Development.
The Mechanical Development Departments in Power Wheelchair Development are responsible for delivering new designs and technical solutions ordered by our regions as well as supporting our production sites and other departments. As a mechanical development engineer, you will be a part of our team, working in development projects and assignments and creating the required documentation for power wheelchairs.
The position is located in Timrå.
Your role - Key responsibilities
As a mechanical development engineer, you are a member of a team responsible for developing user friendly products with high quality suitable for production and assembly. The position involves development and documentation of new products as well as enhancing and maintaining our existing product range.
As a development engineer you will:
Develop and design technical solutions for new and existing products.
Document the development work according to our quality process.
Provide technical knowledge in dialogue with other departments and with suppliers.
Your profile - Qualifications
University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Mechanical engineering.
At least 3 years' experience of mechanical product development. Experience from the medical device area or automotive industry is considered an advantage.
Experience with 3D-CAD design and drawings (SolidWorks or similar).
Knowledge in materials, surface treatment and manufacturing methods.
Good communications skills in both Swedish and English.
