It is done through research, method and tool development, advanced analysis work, welding, pilot production as well as customer support.
The Research Center organization is designed to provide both short term solutions and long term know-how within welding metallurgy and welding applications/processes.

As a Materials Engineer you:
• Conduct investigations in the area of physical metallurgy
• Have the technical responsibility for equipment within the Metallographic Laboratory
• Provide support to development, research, concept and methods/tools projects
• Provide support to customer related projects
• Provide support to product approvals and production units
• Report results in a clear and concise manner
• Within area of responsibility - keep up to date with latest equipment, techniques and filler metals
• Participate in activities to shape and develop Research Center
Who are you?
We believe that you have a University degree in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering. Knowledge in welding metallurgy is meriting.
You have good knowledge in problem solving methodology and working experience from relevant technical area i.e. metallic material investigations or product development.
As a person you are structured and curious with practical and analytical skills. You are customer focused with a strong driving force to succeed.
You are proficient in both written and verbal communications in Swedish and English to effectively interface with both internal and external customers.
The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional traveling is required.
