The Packaging Material organisation within Development & Engineering has recently reorganized to create an organization better adopted to drive and deliver projects but also to focus on Systems Engineering. Within our System Engineering department we are now looking to build a team focusing on Virtual Engineering and are looking for a manager to create and develop that team.
In the position you will:
• Establish and manage the Virtual Engineering team within Development & Engineering, Packaging Material
• Map our current virtual engineering capability and opportunities for growing it
• Create a strategy and roadmap for Virtual Engineering in D&E Packaging Material
• Provide Virtual Engineering service to projects & line organisations that develop our systems
• Develop Virtual Engineering line capabilities & team competence
• Manage our simulation model of converting factory performance & cost

You will possess great listening, documenting & communicating skills, especially with management. It is crucial that you have the ability to see integrated picture at same time as fine detail. As we are in a start-up phase you will need to have the ability to operate with uncertainty and complexity, be self-managed and possess a personal drive. Strong leadership with a focus on developing the team is a requirement.
You will have at least 10 years of experience working in an engineering environment. Management experience with the understanding on how to build and managing a team as well as knowledge of System Engineering will be a requirement. Experience of working with computer simulations and a qualifications related to food engineering, composite liquid packaging board engineering will be considered as a merit.
